Barney plays host to the MCC

Today, Barney’s 1st XI enjoyed a fantastic experience as we hosted the prestigious Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).
Despite overcast weather conditions, we managed a full day’s play, affording our up-and-coming young players a great opportunity to learn and play against the more experienced side.
It was the visitors who took home the spoils, faring better on a wicket that didn’t offer much to the batsmen, by 111 runs.
Congratulations to the MCC on their victory and, as ever, we look forward to welcoming you back to Barney in the future.
