Remembrance Day 2022 – Gone, yet not forgotten

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

Our School community observed a poignant Remembrance Day Service today, as we paid our respects to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, including many Old Barnardians.

A reminder to members of our wider Barney and local communities that we will be hosting a Remembrance Service this Sunday, 13th November 2022 at 10.45am in Chapel, followed by a civic ceremony at The Bowes Museum War Memorial. All are welcome in Big School for refreshments upon the conclusion of the civic ceremony.

This evening in Music School we are also hosting a Concert of Remembrance, starting from 6pm.
