Senior School House Singing – 19.10.2022

20 Oct 2022

What more can we say, other than what an unbelievable evening of entertainment at Barney’s (arguably) most popular House Competition!

The theme for this year’s event was music from the 90’s and it did not disappoint, as pupils confidently performed a range of classic hits from artists such as Elton John, the Spice Girls, Oasis and many, many more!

Well done to Tees House, which won the Junior competition, while Dale House came out on top among the Seniors, in what were keenly contested affairs.

We are grateful to singer/songwriter SuRie for adjudicating the event as well as spending time with our aspiring musicians and drama students over the last couple of days. Pupils benefited immensely from a series of workshops and rehearsals from the UK’s 2018 Eurovision Song Contest entrant, who offered invaluable tips and advice.

Now…sit back, relax and enjoy all the action from a wonderful evening by following the links below!
