Lower Sixth Industry Day 2022

It was fantastic to host our first ‘full’ Lower Sixth Industry Day since 2019 today!

We welcomed professionals from a variety of sectors, including Property, Finance, Hospitality and the Arts, who supported teams of students in their tasks of creating a marketing plan for a fictitious cruise line.

Among our visitors was OB Matthew Osborne, who was part of last year’s winning team and who formed part of the judging panel.

Students had to produce a marketing plan, keeping within their £100,000 budget, as well as a TV/Radio advertisement, which they presented to their peers at the end of an enthralling day.

Our thanks to all nine mentors and the judging panel for giving up their time to support the day, as well as everyone who worked tirelessly in the background to organise one of our Barney Sixth Form’s flagship events.
