Rugby Sevens U15 Challenge Cup

We enjoyed the welcome return of our annual Rugby festival yesterday – the first time we have been able to host it since 2020.
It was wonderful to welcome many schools and friends to Barney for a true spectacle, with all teams displaying great athleticism, competitiveness and sportsmanship throughout.
A special mention must also go to our young referees, who did a fantastic job – many of whom are in Barney’s Upper Sixth and are either studying towards or have recently completed their RFU refereeing qualifications.
Congratulations to St Peter’s, York U15s, who retained their title in a tightly contested final fixture.
