All the very best of luck, Lindy!

30 Apr 2021

We are delighted to share some exciting news that Lindy Themistocleous, our Senior Boys’ Boarding House Matron, has been deservedly shortlisted for a prestigious award!

She is in the running for the Boarding Schools’ Association’s (BSA) Stephen Winkley Award, which commends the achievements of an individual who has made a significant contribution to the cause of boarding.

It is the longest running BSA Award and is dedicated to the memory of Stephen Winkley, who was BSA Chair (2003), and Headmaster of Uppingham (1991-2006) and Rossall Schools (2008-2013).

The winners of the BSA Awards will be announced next week, during the organisation’s Annual Conference for Heads.

As ever, we are grateful to Lindy and Barney’s wider boarding staff for their continued efforts and dedication, especially during these unprecedented times.
