Barney welcomes the U.S. Embassy

12 Feb 2020

We were delighted to welcome delegates from the U.S. Embassy in London today for an interactive workshop with several of our Sixth Form students.

Pupils took part in the Youth Workshop program, which encourages people to exchange thoughts and ideas on the role of the UK and U.S. in world affairs. It covers a range of topics including an overview of what an Embassy does, an introduction to US civics and the U.S. /UK relationship.

The interactive workshop was delivered by Joanna Wulfsberg, a Vice Consul at the U.S. Embassy in London where she works in the Consular Information Unit.

It was a great experience for the entire Sixth Form, particularly those studying Politics at A-Level, following on perfectly from last week’s visit by Dehenna Davison MP.

Many thanks to Joanna and the U.S. Embassy in London for visiting Barney!
