Parents’ Pastoral Forum – Saturday 30 November 2019

This Saturday we will be hosting a Parents’ Pastoral Forum in Big School from 10am-12pm.

The Forum will focus on Drugs Awareness and is the school’s final one of Michaelmas Term – following on from the two previous successful Forums on Anti-Bullying and Mental Health.

An informative forum on the key issue of drugs, we will provide information on key substances of which parents should be aware, including their different street names and effects. Advice will be offered on the signs to look out for and how to talk to children about substance abuse.

It will provide parents with the following:

• clarity on how we support our pupils with key pastoral concerns;
• information on key pastoral concerns that affect our young people;
• practical tips for parents in supporting their children at home with key pastoral concerns;
• recommended links and reading for further information

We hope you will be able to join us in these forums and find them a useful opportunity to find out more about some of the key issues facing our young people today.

If you are unable to attend, resources and a recap of the Forum will be available to parents in due course.
