Durham University Schools’ Physicists of the Year 2024

Many congratulations to Charles A in the Lower Sixth who was honoured at last night’s Durham University Schools’ Physicists of the Year 2024 ceremony.

Charles was nominated as Barney’s Physicist of the Year due to his consistently high performance, passion for subject and inquisitiveness, by the Physics department.

Supporting comments from his teachers included: “Beyond the classroom, Charles actively participates in the school’s Academic Enrichment programme, demonstrating his commitment to furthering his knowledge and passion for Physics. His engagement in these activities showcases his proactive approach to learning and his desire to explore the subject beyond the standard curriculum.”

The ceremony celebrated the talents of exceptional school students and highlighted the excitement and opportunities of studying Physics.
