What a week!
It has been wonderful celebrating everything Music at Barney as we hosted a series of competitions and concerts over the course of our inaugural Festival of Music. On Wednesday, we welcomed Back Chat Brass who delivered their brassy twist on classic tunes, from pop and funk to hip-hop.
Later, on Thursday, Barney’s Young Musician of the Year competition provided a superb evening of entertainment that highlighted the sheer talent amongst Barnardians.
On Friday evening, we were treated to a stunning concert as we welcomed internationally-acclaimed pianist duo, Worbey & Farrell.
Lastly, over the weekend we played host to a 24-hour Music Marathon in aid of charity, Music Support. To date, the Music department has managed to raise in excess of £570!
