What a wonderful evening at our Old Barnardian London Drinks!
It was a real pleasure to see so many familiar faces, reconnect with old friends, and share plenty of memories and stories from life at Barney. There was lots of catching up to do, with conversations spanning school days, careers, and everything that’s happened since leaving Barnard Castle School.
Events like this are a lovely reminder of the community that continues long after pupils leave school. The Old Barnardian network gives former pupils opportunities to stay connected, meet up with others from across different generations, and continue being part of the Barney community.
The Old Barnardian Club runs a programme of regional and international events throughout the year. These range from relaxed drinks and dinners to sporting events and weekends where families can get involved. The network also supports careers, mentoring, fundraising, and other activities that help Old Barnardians support one another.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in London and helped make the evening so special. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
