Disney magic filled Big School as Barney Prep kicked off one of the most anticipated days of the school year: House Singing 2026!
Raleigh, Grenville, Gilbert, and Drake each took to the stage to perform their chosen Disney classic, alongside their own rendition of Let It Go. There were Elsa costumes, animal headbands, and plenty of dancing, with parents joining the audience to cheer on the performers.
Every House brought something special to the occasion. Our guest judges, the Senior School Head Boy and Head Girl, faced a tough decision as they watched the performances and praised pupils for their efforts. But there could only be one winner.
Drake took home the title with a fantastic performance of The Bare Necessities. Mr Burgess’s choreography helped bring the song to life, and the combination proved a winning one. The House celebrated its victory in style!
House Singing is always a highlight of the Prep School calendar. It gives pupils the chance to build confidence and enjoy performing with their friends. This year’s Disney theme certainly brought plenty of colour and character to the stage.
Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to the staff and families who helped make the day so special. What a brilliant start to House Singing 2026!
