Year 7 and 8 Málaga trip

Our Year 7 and 8 students embarked on an unforgettable cultural trip to Málaga, Spain, filled with hands-on learning and adventure.

Malaga Year 7 & 8 Trip

Year 7 and Year 8 recently returned from a fantastic trip overseas to Málaga, where they explored the coastlines and culture of Andalusia, Spain! Here are the highlights of their brilliant time away.

Students immersed themselves in the region’s history by venturing deep underground to marvel at the breathtaking rock formations of the Nerja Caves. The next historical highlight was the Alcazaba, which gave the students a stunning view of the city and coastline, and an adventure around the medieval fortress.

Our classes built confidence by diving headfirst into Andalusian life, bringing the energy to a flamenco workshop and challenging themselves to chat with locals and practice their language skills in the bustling local market.

Between all the fun, Year 7 and 8 relaxed in the sea breeze on the Playa de la Malagueta and toured an idyllic, traditional olive farm in the sunshine.

A very big thank you goes out to Miss Longo, Ms Thompson, Miss Alderdice, and Mr Usher for leading the trip with excitement and providing the opportunity for our students to create unforgettable memories together.
