Barney is about more than just lessons. You’ll have the chance to join clubs, take part in House Competitions, explore Music, Drama and Sport – or even try something new like the CCF (Combined Cadet Force).
Weekends are just as exciting, with regular trips and ‘fun days’ planned by our boarding team. Whatever your interests, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to get involved, challenge yourself and have fun.
Begin your journey
How to join
Applying to Barney is straightforward. We’ll ask you to write a short letter (about 200 words) in English, telling us why you want to study here and what you enjoy doing. You’ll also need to send us your last two school reports translated into English.
If we can offer you a place, we’ll then invite you to complete a Registration Form, pay a fee, and send us a copy of your passport or birth certificate. Interviews can take place online or in person – whichever suits you best.
