On Wednesday, the Barney community came together for a fantastic 12-hour dance-a-thon to raise money for KEEP and support the students heading to Kenya this July.
From Preppies to Sixth Formers, boarders to staff, dancers of all ages took to the floor throughout the day. The energy never dropped, and there was a real sense of everyone getting behind a great cause.
A huge thank you goes to Mr Bradbury, who kept the music playing all day as our resident DJ. We even had a special guest appearance behind the decks from Headmaster Mr Cresswell, helping to keep the party atmosphere going.
Special mention must also go to Lily, Annabel, and Will, who completed the full 12 hours of dancing. An incredible effort.
The event was part of our fundraising efforts for the upcoming Kenya trip, where students will have the opportunity to support local communities and take part in life-changing experiences.
Most importantly, the day showed what Barney is all about. Students and staff coming together, having fun and supporting something bigger than themselves. Thank you to everyone who danced, donated, and helped make the event such a success.
There’s still time to support this amazing cause. Every donation, big or small, is hugely appreciated and will help our students make a difference in Kenya this summer. Make a donation here.
