World-renowned astrophysicist Prof. Duncan Lorimer, FRS, Eberly Distinguished Chair for Academic Excellence, Department of Physics & Astronomy, West Virginia University (WVU), USA (Teesdale ’87) has been featured in The Times India, reflecting on the discovery of Fast Radio Bursts and what they can tell us about the cosmos.

Speaking in New Delhi, he said “the universe is expanding” and pointed to how “new and improved telescopes coming up in the US and Canada will help researchers uncover deeper mysteries of the universe.”
