Before the end of term, our boarding community came together for a special evening of shared memories and celebration.
Boarders of all ages joined their families and the members of staff who have played such an important part in making boarding at Barney feel like home. It was a chance to pause after another busy year and reflect on everything that had been achieved together.
The evening was full of laughter and conversation. Families caught up with staff, pupils shared stories from the year, and everyone enjoyed looking back on the moments that have made life in boarding so special. A little music provided the perfect soundtrack and helped create a warm, relaxed atmosphere throughout the evening.
For our pupils, boarding is about much more than where they stay during term time. It’s where friendships grow and lasting memories are made. Events like this are a reminder of the strong sense of belonging that runs through every boarding house and the close-knit community that pupils become part of from the moment they arrive.
The evening also celebrated the people who make that experience possible. From boarding staff to families and friends, everyone plays a part in making Barney feel like a second home. A lovely celebration of boarding life at Barney, past and present.
