Last weekend, we welcomed guests from far and wide and hosted our biennial Barnardian gala Dinner!
The night was filled with a radiant camaraderie as we raised funds for three incredible causes: LooseHeadz, The Matt Hampson Foundation, and Newcastle Rugby Foundation.
170 Old Barnardians, current and former parents, and friends of the School gathered, with some travelling from as far as Spain and London to catch up with familiar faces throughout the jovial evening. Our Headmaster, David Creswell, played host and brought an abundance of warmth and good humour as he welcomed returning Barnardians and other attendees.
After watching a few entertaining video messages from some rugby stars, our Catering Team shone as always. They provided a range of delicious dishes while the Guzzling Gander handled the bar, helping guests raise a glass as they raised money for our chosen charities.
It was heartwarming to watch members of our community express such generosity throughout our charity auction. Whether donating an auction prize, placing a bid, or making a contribution, every bit of support shone a bright light on the evening’s true purpose.
To round off such a compassionate celebration, guests chatted, laughed, and took to the dance floor to end the festivities on a high.
We can’t thank Dionne Saville enough for organising such a fantastic evening where every detail was covered. And of course, we’re extremely thankful for our in-house teams whose hard work behind the scenes brought the event to life!
Finally, thank you to everyone who attended such a special evening. Seeing a room full of people making a difference through their shared connection with our School was such a pleasure to see!
