Year 5 and 6 bring Madagascar to life on stage

Our Prep School students showed us how much they like to move it, move it

Our Year 5 and 6 pupils wowed audiences with their wild production of Madagascar, bringing the much-loved story to life with plenty of laughs and cheers.

From the moment the curtain went up, the audience was transported from the Central Park Zoo to the wilds of Madagascar. Along the way came plenty of unforgettable characters and catchy songs. Every performance was full of personality, with our talented cast throwing themselves into their roles from start to finish.

It wasn’t just those on stage who made the show such a success. Behind the scenes, our crew worked incredibly hard to make sure everything ran smoothly, helping to create a production that the whole school community could be proud of.

Productions like this are about so much more than learning lines and songs. They help pupils build confidence and discover new talents. It was wonderful to see every student supporting one another and enjoying the experience together.

A huge thank you goes to our dedicated staff, whose hard work and enthusiasm helped bring the production to life. We’d also like to thank our supportive parents and families for their encouragement throughout rehearsals and performances. Your support played a big part in making the show such a success.

And most importantly, congratulations to every Year 5 and 6 pupil who took part. Your enthusiasm and confidence shone through in every scene, and you should all be incredibly proud of what you achieved.
