Rotary Young Musician of the Year 2018

For the third year in a row, the Rotary Club of Barnard Castle held the local heats of the Rotary Club of Great Britain’s Young Musician of the Year Competition 2019. Stephanie Schnurr (L6) won the overall competition through her performances in the Senior Vocal class, and she now goes through to the Regional Finals which are held in Alnwick, in February 2019.

Many congratulations to the many other Barnardians who participated in the competition, Libby Forsyth (Y4), Albie Kingsbury (Y7), Charlie Appleyard (Y7), who all received very promising feedback from the highly qualified adjudicator, Joan Foster.
