Religious Studies Beyond the Classroom

07 Jun 2018

As the end of the term draws near, our RS department has been out and about the North East, taking learning on the road.

Religious Studies GCSE pupils have been in Durham for a tailored educational tour of the Cathedral. They also completed a project on modern themes in the city centre. The sun was shining and a great day was had by all.

Religious Studies A-level students took part in a Philosophy Day in conjunction with Dame Allan’s School in Newcastle. Dr Michael Lacewing led us through a journey of human thought on our existence and behaviours. It was a challenging and enjoyable day.
