Sixth Form Stories

15 Dec 2017

Name: Ceara
Year: 13
House: Bowes
Biggest Barney achievement: Head of Day School

This past week has been a whirlwind with the Christmas holidays just around the corner. On Tuesday, I headed down to Cambridge for my university interview which was a truly eye-opening two days. It was particularly interesting to engage in challenging debates on current issues with leaders in the field, giving me an exciting taste of university life. Just back in time to see the start of festivities in true Barney style, the Winter Wonderland formal organised by the Social Committee on Thursday evening was magical, with the sixth form artfully dancing the night away. Finally, the annual Bowes Museum Christmas concert on Friday saw the spreading of genuine holiday spirit, with one member of the audience marking it as the highlight of the season. Although jam-packed, this week has been both inspiring and thoroughly enjoyable- wishing everyone an early Merry Christmas! ❤️
