Emily Kelly, Longfield House
Barney’s departing Head Girl Emily Kelly achieved an A* and two As in her A Levels to secure a place at Durham University to read German with Liberal Arts.
A popular student across the entire school, Emily was a mainstay in Barney’s drama department appearing in several performances, as well as a regular contributor to the Sixth Form’s Lectern Club.
Commenting about her future ambitions, she said: “I’m now looking to do something that will allow me to work and live abroad, perhaps in the civil service, and work that will help tackle climate change, which is a huge issue for my generation.”
