PSHE
Our son went to Barney for 9 years. During his time there we felt that the whole person was valued with his academic strengths developed and his academic challenges addressed and supported'.

PSHE is different in every school. At Barnard Castle School we have designed our PSHE programme with consideration of the appropriate national guidance together with the provision for Citizenship. We are well resourced and provide support and challenges for all of our children. Barnard Castle School is a Member of the PSHE Association.
What is PSHE?
Personal, social and health education deals with real life issues young people face as they grow up. It gives students the knowledge and skills needed to lead healthy and responsible lives as confident individuals and members of society.
