U13 County Champions

Rarely does the rugby season at BCS continue into May, however Monday 11th became the only opportunity to finish off a exceptional season against local rivals Yarm in the final of the Under 13 County Cup.

The game, although scrappy at times, was played at an extremely high tempo, with BCS turning up all guns blazing, and taking an early first half lead of 15-0. All credit to the Yarm boys who raised an iron curtain defence and managed to score a try before half time.

The second half saw more pressure from BCS but again they were unable to break through a resilient Yarm, and so the score remained 15-5 (a significant improvement from an early season defeat).

Many thanks to Mr Hardy and the Yarm boys for an excellent game, and for playing this far outside of our regular season. We look forward to meeting again in September.
